Faliraki is located on the windless east coast of the island Rhodes, about 15 kilometer south of the capital city Rhodes Town. Faliraki is a lively place, and it is an ideal starting point for numerous activities as well as an excellent holiday and excursion destination.
As a former fishing village, Faliraki is now well known for it’s vibrant nightlife, excellent restaurants and the longest and best-organized beach in Greece.Faliraki Beach, with its six kilometers in length, is a flat beach with a calm sea, which invites you to linger due to its generous amount of space.
For sporty and active guests, the beach offers a large playground for a lot of fun and numerous water sports activities. You’ll love it! Of course there are plenty of bars and restaurants with cold and warm Greek cuisine.
The beach has hotels of all categories, pools, sunbeds with umbrellas, as well as family-guesthouses, sanitary facilities and various conveniently located pickup stations from where you can easily start your excursions.
In the center of Faliraki not far from the beach, there is the promenade with the local bus terminal (across from the MC-Donalds branch / police station).
You will also find several boutiques, banks (ATM), car rentals, pharmacies, shops, restaurants and bars along the promenade “Bar-Street” in the direction of the main street “Rhodos-Lindos”.
Whatever your heart desires, you will find the right store for all your needs right around the next corner.
Faliraki and its beach area are wonderfully suitable for long walks.
